Epos ES-28N: New 3-way floorstanding speaker available from autumn 2024
The Epos ES-28N is the third model in the lineup, coming after the successful Epos ES-7N and ES-14N. It features a classic 3-way design, which is a departure from the usual 2 or 2.5-way systems seen in previous models. Epos is now emphasizing a sophisticated sound architecture with transition frequencies of nearly 300 Hz and 2,800 Hz.

The Epos ES-28N floorstanding speaker is packed with features that make it stand out from its predecessors. It shares some components with its sibling models, but it also brings its own innovations to the table. One of these innovations is an independent housing for the midrange driver, which helps to enhance its performance. Additionally, the speaker has a closed crossover that effectively reduces vibrations caused by high sound pressures. The housing itself is built to last, with double MDF panels and a damping layer for added stability. The 50mm thick front wall further contributes to the overall quality that EPOS is renowned for.
