Matrix MS-1 PRE: Redesigned and improved network audio player

The Matrix MS-1 PRE network audio player represents a highly advanced streaming solution within the M series, which also includes the MP-1 preamplifier and the MA-1 power amplifier. This latest series showcases a redesigned aesthetic and an improved internal architecture. The MS-1 PRE network player features a balanced configuration utilizing a combination of AKM AK4499EX and AK4191 chips for each channel, enabling it to handle high-resolution PCM streams of up to 24-bit 768 kHz, native DSD up to DSD512, and MQA.

Additionally, this model includes pre-amplifier outputs with integrated volume control. The user experience is enhanced by an appealing display with touch controls and the MA Player solution, complemented by the MA Remote App 4.0. A variety of digital inputs (USB-B, optical Toslink, coaxial SPDIF, USB-A, SSD slot) and analog inputs (balanced XLR, RCA, and phono) ensure seamless integration into any audio system setup.

Furthermore, it offers an I2S LVDS input and output via HDMI, a 10 MHz sync connector, and both trigger input and output. The line outputs are comprehensive, featuring stereo RCA and stereo balanced XLR options.
