Atoll PH200: Flagship phono stage from France

The French company Atoll introduced a new phono stage Atoll PH200 , which heads the line of phono stages of the company. The younger model, Atoll PH100, according to many experts, is capable of offering better sound quality than devices from a higher price segment, which is confirmed by numerous awards based on test results.

The Atoll PH200 represents a decisive step forward, especially when it comes to handling low output moving coil (MC) cartridges. Atoll PH200 is equipped with a power supply based on two low-noise transformers that supply different channels, and four voltage stabilizers. The power module is completely shielded to avoid interference and interference to signal circuits. The phono stage is made entirely of discrete elements, and there are no capacitors in the signal path. All settings of the Atoll PH200 are made using DIP switches located on the rear wall of the case.
