HeartField CU8 are new balanced armature headphones designed to deliver neutral sound with Harman’s Target Curve. They are aimed at those who seek accurate reproduction of sound in the spirit of studio monitors – whether working with master tracks or listening to music in lossless formats. Calibrated using artificial ear-based measurement equipment, CU8 delivers faithful sound across the entire range from 20 Hz to 20 kHz.
The proprietary PUR Vibration Control system uses alloy micro-suspensions on the mid- and low-frequency drivers. This not only reduces resonance levels, but also achieves a rich and lively delivery – with each side using four balanced armature emitters, which is rarely possible with such a laconic configuration.
The CU8 body is made of high-density brass alloy and covered with gold plated. This material provides excellent vibration isolation and sound stability, maintaining the purity of the signal and emphasizing the tactile solidity of the body. Each pair is hand-processed: the shape and shine are manually adjusted using traditional grinding and polishing techniques.
The detachable cable also meets high standards. It is based on silver-plated oxygen-free copper with fine strands and PTFE insulation. The use of silver-based WBT solder ensures reliable contact and transparent signal transmission throughout the entire range.
