LHY Audio introduces UIP , a high-quality USB 2.0 isolator with 480Mbps throughput and built-in OCXO+PLL timing system for perfect audio transmission over USB connectors. LHY Audio UIP is plug-and-play with USB-B input and USB-A output supporting USB 2.0 protocol. USB isolation is provided by the ADuM4165 chip and supports high-resolution PCM 32bit 768kHz and DSD512 streams. Moreover, if the UIP isolator’s internal crystal oscillator doesn’t suit you, LHY Audio offers the option of connecting its own external oscillator via a 10 MHz BNC connector (50 ohm/75 ohm). In short, the LHY Audio UIP USB Isolator allows you to isolate the power supply and any ground loops from the USB ports for improved audio signal quality.
Each component of this USB isolator is internally and independently powered by a power supply circuit consisting of a toroidal transformer, capacitors, and LT3042 PNP control transistors. Power is supplied via a 220-240 V AC IEC power supply.
