NTT Sonority recently launched the nwm ONE full-size open headphones featuring an active noise cancellation system. With its open design, users have complete control over their surroundings, while the support for Sony 360 Reality Audio technology delivers an immersive surround sound experience. Additionally, the active phase cancellation technology minimizes sound leakage, ensuring a disturbance-free listening experience for those around you.
The nwm ONE headphones feature a dual-driver setup – a 35 mm diameter driver paired with a 12 mm tweeter, providing a frequency response range from 40 Hz to 20 kHz. These headphones utilize NTT’s exclusive Magic Focus Voice technology for voice transmission, enabling beamforming with two MEMS microphones and spectral voice separation to ensure clear voice communication even in noisy surroundings.
The Nwm ONE headphones can be connected to a source using a USB-C cable or wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.3. The new product supports pairing with eight audio devices and two active multipoint connections. The headphones support the standard CVSD voice codec, as well as the new, higher-quality mSBC voice codec during calls. Also supported are the common SBC / AAC audio codecs, as well as the new, higher-quality LC3 audio codec when listening to music. Bluetooth Auracast support allows several owners of headphones to listen to broadcast music and announcements in gyms and airports.
The lithium battery of the nwm ONE headphones provides up to 20 hours of continuous operation and is fully charged in just 1.5 hours. A quick 5-minute charge provides an hour of operation for the headphones.
