Marshall has refreshed two models from its collection of portable Bluetooth speakers. The Marshall Emberton III is a compact wireless audio system comparable in size to the JBL Flip 6, featuring impressive battery longevity and the iconic design reminiscent of Marshall guitar amplifiers. Meanwhile, the smaller Willen II is a pocket-sized speaker that is easily portable for on-the-go use.

The Marshall Emberton III wireless speaker builds upon the foundation set by its second-generation predecessor. This latest model is marginally larger while maintaining the signature rectangular design. It features a dual amplifier system utilizing class D technology, delivering a combined output of 38 watts. Additionally, the Emberton III incorporates Marshall’s exclusive True Stereophonic technology, which the manufacturer claims provides “exceptional spatial and binaural sound that envelops you, enhancing any environment.”

The Marshall Emberton III boasts an impressive playback time of 32 hours on a single charge, surpassing the JBL Charge 5’s 20 hours and even the 30 hours provided by the higher-end Dali Katch G2. The Willen II also stands out for its compact size, delivering approximately 17 hours of playback, outpacing the similarly priced Sonos Roam, which offers around 10 hours, and the JBL Flip 6, which provides about 12 hours. Both the Marshall Emberton III and Willen II wireless speakers are IP67 rated, ensuring protection against dust and water. This means they can be submerged in 1 meter of water for up to 30 minutes. Additionally, both models feature Bluetooth LE Audio, with Marshall indicating support for Auracast and the capability to connect multiple devices simultaneously, a feature also found in the latest JBL Xtreme 4 and JBL Go 4 models.Marshall Willen II Wireless Speakers
