The Tonewinner AD-1PA’s amplifier stage incorporates 8 pairs of powerful Class A transistors TTC5200 and TTA1943. They allow the amplifier to deliver 300 W RMS serial power per channel under an 8Ω load.
Tonewinner AD-1PA has three operating modes: Class A, Class AB or Auto. The switch allows you to select the most suitable mode according to your needs and your installation. Auto mode automatically switches from Class A to Class AB when the device temperature reaches a certain limit, and switches back to Class A if the temperature drops.
Featuring dual speaker terminals, the Tonewinner AD-1PA offers bi-wiring capabilities. This method of connecting to speakers can provide improved sound quality by reducing the magnetic interaction of the cables.
The AD-1PA’s internal design is designed to physically separate the various sections of the device, thereby providing very good isolation. This design effectively limits interference and noise.
To provide this power, the Tonewinner AD-1PA is equipped with a large power supply that includes a high-performance toroidal transformer with at least 1200W of power. 16 large filter capacitors with a total capacity of 180,000 uF provide a clean and stable electrical signal.
