Greek audio manufacturer Lab12 has made notable improvements to its integrated tube amplifier, the Integre4 Mk2. The redesigned model now incorporates a dual mono configuration, enhanced by two toroidal transformers. While it comes standard with KT150 output tubes, users have the flexibility to substitute them with alternative tube types if desired.

Lab12 promotes its latest integrated tube amplifier, the Integre4 Mk2 Toroid, with the slogan, “the best just got better.” The previous Lab12 Integre Mk2 has been upgraded to a dual mono architecture featuring two robust, high-current, low-noise toroidal transformers, along with completely revamped dual power supply stages. The amplifier is equipped with powerful KT-150 output tubes by default, but it also supports EL34, 6550, KT88, and KT120 output tubes. Designers have indicated that the noise floor has been significantly lowered.

The Integre4 MK2-Toroid is touted as an ideal amplifier for even the most challenging speakers available. Its innovative built-in bias system, powered by a sophisticated processor, allows for easy adjustments via a bright OLED display on the front panel. The manufacturer aims to enhance user experience by simplifying the process of tube placement and sound tuning to suit individual preferences, requiring no additional equipment or technical expertise.
