Samsung HW-Q990C

The new Samsung HW-Q990C soundbar replaced the HW-Q990B in the company’s range. Like its predecessor, the Samsung HW-Q990C soundbar implements the 11.1.4 configuration and offers new features and SmartThings compatibility .

Samsung HW-Q990C in details

The Samsung HW-Q990C is a soundbar with upward and side-facing drivers to create a 3D sound field encoded in Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. In addition, the soundbar is wirelessly connected to the rear speakers and subwoofer, and the rear speakers are also equipped with upward dynamic drivers.

The Samsung HW-Q990C soundbar supports Dolby Atmos and DTS:X 3D soundtrack formats, in addition to standard Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus and DTS. Today it is one of the most advanced soundbars that supports 3D sound formats – competitors offer fewer channels.

Samsung explained that the new generation of the proprietary Q-Symphony system takes advantage of the compatible processor of Samsung 2023 TVs to improve speech reproduction or other parameters and allows you to use the TV speaker and soundbar at the same time. Game Mode Pro 2.0 technology is able to adapt the soundbar sound to the genre of the game, but this functionality is currently limited to games from the Samsung Gaming Hub.
