Original Audio offers the OPA-5A , a Class A amplifier and headphone amplifier duo based on a tube architecture that delivers highly musical and rich sound. It uses two 12AU7 tubes for the preamp stage and two KT88 tubes for the Class A amplifier circuit.
The entire device has a very good design quality. Its power stage includes two EI transformers and a Japanese Z11 transformer to provide the audio circuits with a clean and stable electrical signal.
For connectivity, the OPA-5A offers unbalanced stereo RCA and balanced stereo XLR inputs, as well as Bluetooth wireless connectivity, allowing you to stream music remotely, such as from a smartphone. The outputs have terminals for connecting speakers, as well as two headphone outputs, the first is an unbalanced 6.35 mm jack, the second is a balanced XLR 4 pole.
