Ten years later, HIFIMAN returns with the new EF400 , which features all the best of the latest technologies and, in particular, the brand’s R2R Himalaya DAC module. The EF400 is a state-of-the-art DAC and headphone amplifier that is compact in size yet packs incredible audio performance.
The four-channel differential structure integrates a DAC, buffer and active filter and effectively drives the device’s balanced outputs while delivering superior audio quality.
The amplifier circuitry, also consisting of four differential channels, allows it to achieve an impressive output level of 10.7Vrms (THD < 1%) into a 36Ω load.
