British manufacturer Wilson Benesch is set to unveil its new floorstanding loudspeaker, the Horizon, at the upcoming Bristol Hifi Show. This model builds upon the success of the Fibonacci product line and is strategically positioned between the Discovery 3zero and the ACT 3Zero.
As with all products in the Fibonacci Series, the Horizon is a product of the €7.4 million EU-funded SSUCHY project, which has pioneered the use of advanced bio-based composite materials in speaker design. The enclosure of the ACT 3zero Monocoque is engineered to optimize internal air volume.
The Wilson Benesch Horizon is equipped with the company’s patented Tactic 3.0 driver units and features a tweeter that is also utilized in other Fibonacci Series models.
Handcrafted in the UK, the Horizon is built to the highest quality standards and will be offered in a variety of premium finishes, including real wood veneers and meticulously hand-polished pearlescent metallic paints.
Details regarding pricing and delivery are yet to be announced.
