Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs ( MoFi Electronics ) has announced the Ultraphono Pro, a puristic, single-input phono amplifier. While the Ultraphono Pro is derived from the flagship MasterPhono, it has fewer inputs and fewer features.

Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs has been renowned for analog mastering for over forty years, but that same attention to detail lives on at MoFi Electronics. With the Ultraphono Pro, MoFi brings much of the performance DNA of its flagship MasterPhono to a more accessible price point.
Designed by industry veteran Peter Madnick, the Ultraphono Pro is a single-input phono amplifier built around the same ultra-low noise circuitry and premium components as the award-winning MasterPhono. The goal was clear: to deliver the essential musical performance, accuracy, and flexibility that vinyl enthusiasts value, without unnecessary complexity. Despite its streamlined design, the Ultraphono Pro is anything but simple. It offers up to 71 dB of amplification while maintaining a wide, linear frequency response from 10 Hz to 50 kHz (±0.2 dB) and exceptionally accurate RIAA equalization (±0.05 dB). Noise is impressively low, allowing the music to shine through in a quiet, stable background.
The front panel controls offer practical, listener-focused functions, including mono mode, mute, a subsonic filter, and dimmable front panel illumination. Cartridge tuning is also flexible, with multiple options for MC cartridges and selectable gain settings for both unbalanced and balanced outputs.
