Elac has been building speakers for decades, but a Bluetooth speaker was recently missing from its portfolio. The new Nava100, available for delivery starting in January 2026, is Elac’s first Bluetooth model. Its aluminum housing allows buyers to choose between white and black finishes.

Elac also wants to compete in the Bluetooth speaker market and is entering the market with the Nava100, a rectangular wireless speaker with rounded corners. The white or black aluminum housing houses a single 3-inch full-range driver supported by two passive radiators. The name Nava100 isn’t just a marketing ploy to appeal to beachgoers. According to the manufacturer, it’s built on a century of Elac engineering and built like a real speaker, not a plastic noisemaker.

At the top, the controls are arranged in a sleek, linear layout, framed by gold accents on the black model or black accents on the white/cream edition. It’s a small detail, but precisely the kind of design flourish that sets this device apart from the usual plastic Bluetooth devices.

According to Elac, the internal platform is just as serious. The Nava100 features Bluetooth 5.3 and also features high-quality 24-bit DAC/ADC stages, ELAC’s proprietary DSP tuning, and a dedicated amplifier stage to keep the sound consistent, regardless of the source. While the Nava100 can be used on its own, and is originally a mono speaker, ELAC has incorporated a Dual Play mode, allowing two units to form a stereo pair. The specified frequency response ranges from 55 Hz to 19.6 kHz.

Battery performance is solid for this class. The 5,000mAh battery provides up to 15 hours of playtime at 25 percent volume and about 6 hours at full volume. When it’s time to recharge, the USB-C fast charger will fully charge the battery in about two hours using a 1.5A charger.
The dimensions are 150 x 128 x 78 millimeters (W x H x D) and the Nava100 weighs 1.4 kilograms.
