Rose RS520: All-in-one network player, DAC and amplifier

ROSE RS520
ROSE RS520

The Rose RS520 is an all-in-one network player, DAC and amplifier with the brand’s premium design. Just connect the speakers and you get a complete and powerful audio system.

ROSE RS520

The RS520’s digital-to-analog conversion section uses the ES9038Pro DAC, found in the brand’s most high-end models. The Class AD amplifier stage uses new GaN FETs.

The Class AD amplifier found in the TS520 uses a new type of GaN (gallium nitride) FET that significantly reduces dead time by a third and thus maximizes linearity. Moreover, with 250 watts per channel, this amplifier is suitable for many audio systems.

The RS520 features a parametric equalizer to adjust the level of specific frequency bands. Each frequency band can be adjusted within a gain range of ±10 dB. Predefined equalization profiles are also available.

Thanks to its extensive connectivity options, the Rose RS520 can be used in a variety of ways. Whether you want to connect other devices and peripherals or enjoy wireless streaming via Bluetooth or WiFi, everything is possible. Your music has never been so accessible.

ROSE RS520

The RS520 can be controlled directly via the ROSE Connect mobile app. This application allows you to remotely access all functions of the device and control music playback as you wish.

The RS520’s chassis is constructed from extremely durable 6000-grade aluminum using a technology that makes all four sides of the chassis a single piece. This method is ideal for allowing the chassis to block vibrations that may occur between individual components.

ROSE RS520

Equipped with ESS Technology’s flagship ES9038Pro DAC chip, the RS520’s D/A conversion stage achieves a very low THD+N of -122dB as well as a dynamic range of 140dB. This DAC also allows playback of high-resolution audio streams, supporting PCM up to 32-bit 768 kHz and Native DSD up to DSD512. It also features exclusive ESS jitter reduction technology for incredible audio clarity.

ROSE RS520

The main reason for using power factor correction (PFC) is to improve efficiency. By using active PFC method, energy saving efficiency can reach 95%. In addition, it allows the use of a wider range of supply voltages, from 80 to 265 VAC, while limiting noise levels.

The RS520’s design focuses on enduring values. Refined aesthetics and durable construction with ample ventilation holes for optimal heat dissipation. The perfect combination of functionality and attractive appearance.

ROSE RS520

With a large 12.6-inch LCD touch screen with a resolution of 1920*515 pixels, the RS520 is an indispensable device. It provides intuitive navigation with an ergonomic interface and offers a quality display for enjoying artwork or clips of your favorite albums and songs.

Discrete OPAs developed by Rose are used in the IV circuitry required for the DAC. The brand focuses here on high gain open loop to achieve low distortion and noise. Additionally, this OPA model has the wide bandwidth and power range needed for high-quality analog amplification, adding pleasing depth to the sound.
