The model is specially optimized for working with portable equipment, as it has a relatively low impedance of 32 Ohms and fairly high sensitivity. The Beyerdynamic T5p 2nd Gen headphone housings are equipped with new large drivers with an increased magnetic induction value (more than 1 T), made in accordance with the proprietary high-performance Tesla technology, which involves the use of powerful ring neodymium magnets. The speakers have an asymmetric design, i.e. as if slightly turned at a slight angle, which provides a voluminous and transparent sound with a wide stage.
The deep ear pads and headband padding are made of artificial leather with a special coating, and a soft layer of memory foam is used as a filler. As a result, a high level of comfort is guaranteed for long hours of listening. The headphones look strict and modern. Their elegance is emphasized by horseshoe-shaped metal forks-holders with the model name stamped in the form of a stencil and neat decorative metal inserts. Adjustment to the required size is done in the traditional way – with the help of a slider mechanism.
The Beyerdynamic T5p 2nd Gen headphone model is equipped with a detachable double-sided short cable with an outer fabric braid and conductors made of high-purity monocrystalline copper OCC. The cord has an L-shaped 3.5 mm plug, and the set includes an adapter for the 6.3 mm standard. As an option, you can install an extended cord or a balanced cable with 4-pin XLR connectors. A reliable black hard case with a zipper is intended for storing the headphones. The headphones are manufactured at Beyerdynamic facilities in Germany.
