An updated version of the SU-9, the SMSL SU-9 Pro builds on the technical foundations of its predecessor while improving the integrated components for improved performance. Thus, the new version features a new ESS ES9039MPro DAC, which provides sound restitution with great richness and accuracy and allows you to support high-resolution audio streams up to PCM 32bit 768kHz and DSD512, as well as decode MQA files.
The entire audio circuit demonstrates special care in the selection of components. There are no less than 11 OPA1612As, a XMOS XU316 USB interface, a CK-03 clock circuit for significant jitter reduction, and a shielded and regulated power stage capable of delivering a clean and stable electrical signal.
The SU-9 Pro, like its big brother, is equipped with a Bluetooth 5.0 receiver chip, allowing you to easily stream music wirelessly, for example from a smartphone or tablet. Additionally, it supports aptX, aptX HD and LDAC transmission codecs for high-quality wireless audio playback.
The SMSL SU-9 Pro decodes MQA (Master Quality Authenticated) files, delivering audio quality as close to studio recordings as possible. It also supports the MQA-CD format, allowing this format to be read from a CD player.
