Engineering and Technology

At the heart of the Ori 3.0 are 80 mm planar magnetic drivers built around a 6-micron Kapton® diaphragm. ZMF pairs these with its proprietary Caldera Asymmetrical Magnet Structure (CAMS) and Atrium Damping System (ADS), technologies engineered to refine detail, dynamics, and spatial presentation while maintaining a natural, musical character.

Craftsmanship and Design

Each Ori 3.0 is built from kiln-fired Black Limba wood, chosen for its rigidity, tonal qualities, and reduced weight. The wood cups are paired with a lightweight aluminum headband, with an optional upgrade to magnesium for those seeking even lighter wear. At roughly 500 grams, the Ori 3.0 strikes a balance between durability and comfort.

With three different types of ear pads, the ZMF Ori 3.0 headphones offer 27 different sound characters without the use of equalization.

Sound Customization

ZMF gives listeners remarkable flexibility with the Ori 3.0. Supplied with three different Caldera ear pads—Lambskin, Suede, and Hybrid—plus a two-piece insert kit (solid and perforated), the headphone can be tuned to deliver up to 27 unique sound profiles, all without digital equalization. This modular approach lets users adapt the presentation to different genres, moods, or personal preferences.
