The Gustard H16 is a high-performance headphone amplifier and preamplifier that features thoughtful, streamlined manufacturing. Featuring independent symmetrical and asymmetrical circuits capable of delivering high power levels, it can be used with most headphones on the market.
Its preamplifier and power stage are based on one LME49722 chip and two LNE49724 chips. As such, it is capable of delivering 3700mW of power into 64 ohms from its balanced outputs, while offering detailed, rich and dynamic sound reproduction. The inputs are buffered using the OPA1642 AOP and the OPA1678 AOP.
Also at the heart of the device are the Altera CPLD and STC MCU, which are responsible for fast audio signal processing while ensuring low jitter levels.
In terms of power supply, the H16 integrates a linear power supply using a custom toroidal transformer to cleanly power all audio systems.
Finally, the volume level is adjustable thanks to the relay volume control, which allows you to maintain absolutely identical sound levels on both channels.
