The Move from Germany-based Lindemann is a compact monitor speaker with its dimensions of 35 x 18.6 x 30.5 centimeters (H x W x D). The housing is made of HDF, except for the front, which is made of a thick sheet of aluminum. The Move weighs 6.5 kilograms.
Treble reproduction is handled by an AMT and the only crossover in the Move is a high-pass filter for the AMT. The amplifier is therefore connected directly to the midrange/woofer. The midrange/woofer has a frequency range of 40 Hz to 10 kHz and largely overlaps with the AMT. According to Lindemann, the total frequency range of the Move runs from 40 Hz to 36 kHz and the specified sensitivity is 87 dB.
The removable fronts have a magnetic attachment. Lindemann can optionally supply a lightweight stand for the Move.
The Lindemann Move has a recommended retail price of $3,200 per pair. A set of stands is included for $295.
