iBasso has launched the DX320 player . This is a player powered by two ROHM BD34301EKV DAC chips . The iBasso DX320 is a high-end digital music player with a carefully crafted design that delivers the best sound for a superior music experience. Powerful and feature-rich, the DX320 is the ideal companion for listening to music at home or on the go.

iBasso DX320

An exciting new digital era begins!
Developed as part of ROHM’s high-end MUS-IC series, the pinnacle of audio ICs, the BD34301EKV DAC chip emphasizes “spatial reverberation”, “silence” and “dynamic range” – qualities essential for reproducing any music. The original sound quality design technology successfully reproduces targeted natural sound reproduction. At the same time, best-in-class low noise and distortion levels (SN ratio 130 dB, THD+N -115 dB) provide the high performance required for high fidelity audio equipment. With the DX320, iBasso has carefully worked on the design and implementation of this DAC to ensure that all the qualities of the BD34301EKV shine through in all their glory. In basic measurements the DX320 also excels. The measured signal-to-noise ratio is 125 dB, dynamic range is 125 dBV, and THD+N is -112 dB. With these good measurements the foundation was laid for its flagship sound. The DX320’s maximum balanced output voltage is 7.1 Vrms, and it can easily handle most full-size headphones! The output power into a 32 ohm load reaches 1200 mW, which is very high among portable DAPs.

In the DX320, iBasso used its own FPGA-Master technology. As an audio controller, the FPGA-Master directly requests audio data from the SoC and plays an important role in signal reproduction and maintaining signal integrity. It synchronizes and generates all audio clocks simultaneously and uses two Accusilicon femtosecond oscillators to achieve full synchronization of a single clock source. The FPGA and oscillators also reduce jitter to extremely low levels, creating an exceptionally clear digital audio signal. Audio processing in Android does not have a high system priority. The addition of FPGA-Master technology increases the priority of audio processing in the system, creating a stable and interference-free digital audio system for the DX320.

Patented dual battery power supply design
The power system is one of the most significant parts of the player and has a decisive influence on sound quality. SoCs, DACs, AMPs, and other components have stringent power requirements during transition periods. When the entire system is powered by a single battery, the high current demands of the digital section and the analog section can affect each other, which can lead to distortion and poor sound quality. The DX320 uses a patented dual-battery design in which the AMP and digital sections are powered by independent batteries. An independent battery provides sufficient power supply for stable operation of the AMP section and isolates interference from the digital section for better overall sound quality. This ensures that the analog section receives exceptionally clean DC current, allowing the AMP section of the player to develop to its full potential.

iBasso DX320

Powerful hardware coupled with custom software for a smooth and responsive user experience
The DX320 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor as the SoC. Thanks to the powerful performance of this 14nm 8-core processor, the device’s performance is outstanding in the field of digital audio players! 6 GB RAM ensures stable and fast performance, and 128 GB of internal memory allows you to install more applications and music. The DX320 has a 6.5-inch full screen with a very narrow bezel. The screen resolution is 2340×1080 pixels, and color reproduction is unmatched among digital audio players. There is an indicator light at the top of the screen that lets you know the DX320’s operating status at a glance.

The DX320 is equipped with the latest Android 11 OS. Faster system response and smooth operation put the DX320 first among HiFi players. You can freely install almost any APP and enjoy online streaming. Like previous iBasso players, the DX320 bypasses SRC at the system level; Whether it’s Mango’s built-in player or a third-party streaming APK, you can enjoy the “Non-SRC” feature at the system level. At the same time, the DX320 is equipped with Linux-based Mango OS, specially designed for clear audio playback. Thanks to the powerful Qualcomm 660 GPU acceleration, Mango’s system speed is close to Android. This Mango OS has accumulated a lot of optimization results for music decoding and basic driver algorithms. Additionally, Mango OS disables Bluetooth and WiFi to reduce electromagnetic interference. It also minimized CPU and RAM usage to keep the system clean for better audio quality.

Replaceable Amplifier Cards – Endless Possibilities
Replaceable AMP Card design allows for greater variety, personalization and music enjoyment. Currently, there are the Amp11 Mk2 discrete AMP card and the AMP12 super-class A discrete balanced AMP card; In addition, the Korg Nutube AMP13 will be available soon. There’s no need to replace the player, just replace the amp card and you can freely switch between transistor AMP’s focus on sharpness and clarity, and bright tube sound quality.

iBasso DX320

The standard AMP board AMP11 MK2s is based on the AMP8 discrete circuitry and features 3.5mm single-ended, 2.5mm balanced and 4.4mm balanced output ports (all ports can also be changed to line outputs). The +/-8V power supply provides sufficient and stable power to the AMP section. The transistor’s maximum output current reaches 2A, allowing the AMP11 MK2s to easily drive high-current-demanding IEMs and headphones. The maximum output voltage of the DX320 reaches 7.1Vrms, and thanks to the independent battery power supply, the maximum output power of a 32ohm load reaches 1200mW! To best match the DX320, the AMP11 MK2s have been tuned using a selection of electrolytic and film capacitors, including the new iBasso Premium AI custom foil audio capacitor.

The Pro-Audio parametric equalizer for fine-tuning the equalizer and fine-tuning the
proprietary Mango APK player combines the equalizer algorithm accumulated by iBasso over many years. In addition to the graphic equalizer, the DX320 adds a more professional parametric equalizer, providing 6 bands with eight types of high-precision filters of all types. Each filter section can be individually configured to adjust F value, Q value and gain, with detailed visual adjustments possible. This allows you to achieve fine tuning with virtually no distortion and freely define the equalizer for different listening situations.

MQA 16x plus high-speed, worry-free wireless
MQA (Master Quality Authenticated) captures 100% of the original studio performance, then compresses the file to make it small enough for streaming. The DX320 includes MQA technology, which allows you to play back MQA audio files and streams while enjoying the sound of the original master. With an updated internal antenna, the DX320 provides excellent coverage. 5G WiFi uses a 2×2 MIMO WiFi antenna design, with two input channels and two output channels, resulting in significantly increased transmission speed and data volume. The DX320 supports Bluetooth 5.0 with an improved antenna that provides longer transmission range and stronger signal.
