Grado Hemp: Limited Edition headphones

“You may or may not like hemp, but you will definitely like the Grado Hemp Headphone Limited Editions, ” say Grado labs.

Grado Hemp Headphone Limited Editions

The Brooklyn-based headphone brand seems to have created a unique and eye-catching pair of limited-edition headphones.
In fact, the company claims they are some of the best-sounding limited edition models it has ever made. As the name suggests, the body of the headphones is made from hemp, a material that Grado has not worked with before.

In addition to the headphones having a strikingly attractive appearance, the highly compressed hemp supposedly creates a damping effect between the fibers, which promotes a fuller sound with outstanding lows and smooth highs. Grado has built maple into the body of the headphones to help balance the sound.

Grado’s previous experience with maple gave the team a starting point when it came to specifically tuning drivers for hemp bodies. However, it was only through trial and error that the company was able to ensure that the presentation matched the signature Grado sound that has proven so popular throughout the brand’s seventy-year history.

“Hemp and maple work together for the first time to take the vibe of our limited editions to the next level,” promises Grado.
