Audionet is a German company with a 25-year history, located in Bochum, where the Ruhr University is located. Part of the company’s technology was born at the Faculty of Electronics of this university. All Audionet products are designed and handcrafted in Germany. The design of all products is based on a scientific approach.
In 1994, Thomas Gessler, together with his comrades from the Ruhr University, one of the leading universities in Germany, founded the company Idektron & Co. The first product of the company, called Audionet (can be translated as “sound network”), the Pre amplifier, became a sensation, and today every new product from the company becomes an event for music lovers around the world.
