ZVOX has introduced a compact version of its flagship AV855 soundbar , the AV835 , designed for TVs with screen sizes of 32 inches and larger . This new product is designed for those seeking crystal-clear dialogue and sound-filling capabilities in smaller spaces, such as bedrooms, kitchens, and offices. The ZVOX AV835 brings signature speech-intelligibility technologies and impressive sound to a more affordable and compact format.
The ZVOX AV 835 isn’t intended to be a full-fledged replacement for a home theater surround sound system. It’s a compact soundbar for those who don’t want to turn their living room into a movie theater. The focus is on improving speech intelligibility—one of ZVOX’s strong points—so you can truly hear what the characters are saying onscreen without having to crank up the volume after every explosion.

Despite its modest dimensions, the ZVOX AV835 delivers a solid sound. This low-profile soundbar eliminates the hassle of complex setups while confidently filling the room with detailed sound.
Like its “big brother,” the ZVOX AV855, the new model offers 20 levels of voice enhancement: 10 levels of AccuVoice (a patented technology based on hearing aid algorithms that “pushes” speech forward without increasing overall volume) and 10 levels of SuperVoice, which “cleans” background noise so you hear speech clearly. Plus, the Output Leveling feature evens out the volume—from quiet speech to loud commercials.

At 45 centimeters wide, the ZVOX AV835 soundbar features two 2.95-inch woofers and a pair of full-range 1.46-inch front drivers for the midrange and high frequencies. PhaseCue Virtual Surround technology expands the soundstage for a cinematic experience and adds a virtual center channel. All this comes from a cabinet measuring approximately 5 centimeters tall and 14 centimeters deep.

The ZVOX AV835 soundbar features an aluminum housing with a metal grille, and its compact size allows it to fit easily under most TVs on tight TV stands. A discreet digital display behind the grille shows the volume level and active input. A remote control with large, easy-to-read buttons is included. Connectivity is via HDMI ARC , digital optical input, or a 3.5 mm mini-jack. Basic functions (volume, mute, and power) can be controlled via HDMI ARC via the TV remote.
The ZVOX AV 835 soundbar is now available in the US with a suggested retail price of $269.99 .
