Theorie un Anwendung (T+A) has introduced a new three-way floorstanding loudspeaker, the Pulsar S 130. Similar to the products in the Solitaire and Criterion series, the Pulsar S 130 incorporates the brand’s unique “Symmetric Directivity” technology. This design aims to concentrate sound, thereby minimizing reflections and reducing muddiness in audio quality. The Pulsar S 130 is available in both white and black color options.

T+A employs advanced bass reflex technology for the reproduction of low frequencies, featuring a port that provides a notable contrast to the cabinet’s front. This design ensures that the rear energy of the chassis is effectively harnessed, resulting in a remarkably deep bass foundation.
The new Pulsar S 130 showcases T+A’s contemporary design philosophy of “classic modernity.” Its visually striking profile features a gently sloping, steep front that seamlessly incorporates four drivers and a tweeter, eliminating the need for external attachments or screws. This design approach is intended to prevent frequency response irregularities and ensure a consistently harmonious sound, as emphasized by the designers.
The chassis, featuring a refined black finish with enhanced ‘StarStabilizer’ embossing, seamlessly integrates with the housing or creates a bold yet tasteful contrast against the elegant velvet white of the exterior. The manufacturer asserts that the overall aesthetic of the Pulsar speakers makes them perfect design elements for those looking to enhance their living room ambiance without overwhelming it. The new Pulsar S 130 speakers are now available for order and delivery.
T+A specifies a frequency range of 32 to 45 kHz, with an impedance of four ohms and a sensitivity rating of 86 dB. The crossover points are set at 225 Hz and 2.2 kHz. The dimensions of the speakers are 100 x 27 x 37 centimeters (H x W x D, including base and spikes), and the Pulsar S 130 has a weight of 22.5 kilograms.
