iBasso has launched the new portable digital player DX260 , the DAC unit of which is built on flagship chips from Cirrus Logic .
The applied matrix of eight CS43198 chips made it possible to achieve excellent dynamic range and record low distortion and signal-to-noise ratio. The use of the new FPGA-MASTER2.0 algorithm ensures coordinated operation of the clock generator and FIR filter.
The player runs Android 11 and bypasses SRC at the system level. The volume is controlled using a physical rotary wheel. The maximum output power when balanced is 1015 mW per channel into 32 ohms. To connect headphones, the model has 3.5 mm and 4.4 mm jacks; they can also be used to output a linear signal.
On the top panel there is a digital coaxial output on a 3.5 mm jack, a USB-C port and a card reader. The built-in battery has a capacity of 4400 mAh , its full charge is enough for 14 hours of operation. With dimensions of 123 x 74.5 x 17.5 mm, the player weighs 229 grams .
The iBasso DX260 portable hi-res player is available to order online.
