Fender and Mobile Fidelity Electronics have previously worked together to create and launch the Fender X MoFi Precision Deck turntable. Now, these companies are introducing the American Vintage, a modern nostalgic turntable that features a color scheme reminiscent of Fender’s electric guitars. The American Vintage is equipped with a matching dust cover and tonearm. An MM element or an MC element can be added as an optional feature.
The Fender American Vintage Turntable reflects the shared DNA of two brands known for influencing how we hear and feel music. Designed and built in the USA, the turntable features a solid alder body, just like the Fender Stratocaster, and is finished in a satin two-tone tobacco color that echoes the classic guitar’s aesthetic. This is more than a visual tribute; it’s a continuation of Fender and MoFi’s dedication to craftsmanship, tone, and timeless appeal.
The Fender American Vintage Turntable is designed with three basic principles: ease of use, elegant design and superior sound. It is suitable to appeal to both the average music lover and the serious audiophile.
The user-friendly controls are based on an electronic speed control that allows effortless switching between 33.3 and 45 rpm at the touch of a button, eliminating the need for manual belt adjustment. An illuminated switch turns the device on or off.
The distinctive design of the solid alder chassis not only reflects the Stratocaster in form and finish, but also provides excellent resonance control for audio performance. The smooth, tactile surface and handcrafted feel reflect both its musical and visual heritage.
Technically, the manufacturer says it’s also good. The turntable is equipped with a three-kilogram turntable platter made of Delrin, a 10-inch aluminum tonearm with wiring from Cardas Audio and an inverted bearing of hardened steel with a sapphire pressure surface, comparable to the technology of the UltraDeck turntable.
The MoFi Electronics X Fender American Vintage includes a dust cover and is offered in three configurations: without a pickup, with an MM pickup, or with an MC pickup. Pricing details have not been disclosed yet.
