Audio Pro has updated its entire line of wireless speakers, and in addition to improved sound and design, the biggest new feature is that the speakers now run on the excellent WiiM streaming app . Previously, the setup, streaming, and multi-room interface of Audio Pro wireless speakers were powered by the LinkPlay platform, which is the parent company of WiiM. The new Audio Pro W-generation speakers – there are 10 models in total – now feature an updated app based on the current WiiM OS.

For all updated Audio Pro speakers, this means an improved app interface, advanced equalizer and room-tuning settings, expanded multi-room and grouping capabilities, and more intuitive setup and playback controls. Streaming service support includes Spotify, Tidal, Amazon Music, Qobuz, Deezer, TuneIn Internet Radio, and more. In general, most of the features available in the WiiM products will be implemented here. Owners of previous Audio Pro models are not left out either: all new W-generation speakers are compatible with the brand’s current models for seamless integration into multi-room systems.
The sound in the Audio Pro W-generation wireless speaker series has also been “reimagined,” and Audio Pro engineers are not stopping there. Each product is optimized for “greater clarity, less distortion, and significantly increased volume.” The company promises that all new models will deliver sound that is “immersive, powerful, and musical.”

Henrik Dunér , CTO of Audio Pro, said: “Our goal was not just to tweak the sound. We wanted to rethink it from the ground up, covering the entire audio spectrum and achieving the most musical sound in compact formats . ”
Although the speakers retain the same body shapes, minor changes in appearance (button panels, rear panels, textured coatings, logos) give the design uniformity and emphasize the minimalist Scandinavian style.

The Audio Pro W-generation wireless speaker line includes one-piece wireless speakers in various sizes, small bookshelf models, and two pairs of floor-standing speakers with integrated streaming. They are available in a variety of grays, with the Audio Pro A28 model also available in walnut. Connectivity options remain the same.
And a nice bonus – most of the new speakers will retain prices close to the previous versions: Audio Pro C20 W – 550 euros, C10 MkII W – 400 euros, C5 MkII W – 300 euros, A10 MkII W – 250 euros, A15 W – 400 euros, A28 W – 600 euros (650 euros in walnut finish), A38 W – 800 euros, A48 W – 1,100 euros, Drumfire II W – 700 euros, Drumfire D-2 W – 400 euros.
