Bang & Olufsen has released a new portable wireless speaker system Beosound A5 , designed in the style of the 1960s.
Externally, the model really resembles models such as the classic Beolit 607 , while its design was developed in collaboration with the Italian-Danish bureau GamFratesi .
Structurally, the novelty is an active speaker system with a 360-degree radiation pattern provided by four emitters driven by four amplifiers with a total power of 280 watts . The speaker set includes a 130mm bass driver, two 50mm midrange drivers and one 20mm tweeter.
The built-in battery allows the speaker to work up to 12 hours on a single charge, and IP65 certification means that the case is protected from moisture and dust. The model’s wireless capabilities include not only a Bluetooth 5.2 adapter , but also support for AirPlay 2, Chromecast and Spotify Connect platforms . Of course, among the supported and proprietary platform Mozart .
The Bang & Olufsen Beosound A5 wireless speaker is available in two colors – Beige Nordic Weave (999 euros) and Brown Dark Oak (1099 euros).
