Zeiler Audio has unveiled the PR-01 preamplifier and the PA-01 stereo power amplifier powered by KT150 tubes. So far, these two components make up the entire model range of the company. The amplifiers are assembled by hand at the Zeiler Audio factory in Switzerland.
The cabinets of the PR-01 and PA-01 amplifiers are CNC-milled from solid billet aluminum to form a sturdy chassis. The outer walls of the case are sandblasted, anodized, after which a ceramic coating is applied to them. Both components feature advanced power supplies mounted on a suspended sub-chassis to mechanically isolate them from the audio circuitry.
The Lundahl input and output transformers galvanically isolate the preamplifier circuit, and the power amplifier uses Lundahl C-core output transformers.
The amplifying stages of the Zeiler Audio PR-01 preamplifier are based on a pair of 12AX7/ECC83 double triodes and operate in pure class A. The switching arsenal includes four single-ended inputs, including a phono stage input for working with moving coil cartridges (MM), as well as balanced and unbalanced output. The Zeiler Audio PA-01 single-ended power amplifier uses a 12AX7/ECC83 dual triode and a KT150 tetrode in each of the two channels, allowing up to 10 watts of output. In the basic version, speakers with a nominal impedance of 4 and 8 ohms are supported. If necessary, you can order compatibility with a load with an impedance of 16 ohms.
