Tecno has introduced the Pova Curve 2 5G, a striking new mid-range smartphone that combines an eye-catching curved design with a high-refresh-rate AMOLED display and a massive battery. With aggressive pricing and strong everyday specifications, the new model is positioned as a compelling option for users who want performance and style without stepping into flagship territory.
Slim design with curved AMOLED display
The Tecno Pova Curve 2 5G features a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a fast 144 Hz refresh rate, making it well suited for gaming, scrolling, and video playback. The panel is rated at up to 4,500 nits peak brightness, ensuring good visibility even in bright outdoor conditions. Protection is provided by Gorilla Glass 7i.
Despite its large battery, the phone maintains a relatively slim profile at 7.42 mm thick and weighs around 200 grams, giving it a sleek and modern feel in the hand.

MediaTek Dimensity power
Under the hood, the device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 processor, an octa-core chip clocked up to 2.4 GHz with a Mali-G610 MP2 GPU. The phone is available with 8 GB or 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and Tecno also supports virtual memory expansion up to 16 GB or 24 GB respectively.
Storage options include 128 GB or 256 GB of UFS 2.2 internal memory, offering fast load times for apps and media.
Massive battery and fast charging
One of the headline features is the 8,000 mAh battery, which should deliver excellent endurance for heavy users. The device supports 45 W fast charging, helping reduce downtime despite the large battery capacity.

Camera and features
The rear camera setup includes a 50-megapixel main sensor paired with a 2-megapixel secondary sensor, while the front camera offers 13 megapixels for selfies and video calls.
Additional features include:
-
Stereo speaker with Dolby Atmos support
-
IP65 water and dust resistance
-
Built-in IR transmitter
-
HiOS 16 based on Android 16
