SMSL has started selling an inexpensive digital-to-analog converter D-6S , built on a new generation ES9039Q2M chip from Saber Technologies .

The model is capable of working with 32-bit/768 kHz PCM stream and native DSD512 signal , as well as decoding MQA and MQA-CD files . The output stage is implemented using four high-quality operational amplifiers OPA1612 , the output terminals are represented by one pair of RCA and one pair of XLR. Connection to digital signal sources is possible via optical and coaxial inputs, as well as a USB-C port .

The XMOS XU316 processor is responsible for signal processing . The front panel has a small display and a rotary switch and level control, and a full-featured remote control is also included. The built-in Bluetooth adapter version 5.1 supports LDAC, aptX HD, aptX, SBC, AAC codecs . The device weighs only 590 grams .
