Rotel has expanded the S series of electronic components with an interesting device that combines an integrated amplifier, a network streamer with all possible wireless interfaces and a DAC in one package. The novelty, which received the S14 index , is based on a 32-bit DAC chip of the Sabre32 series from ESS Technology.

The Rotel S14 Integral Streamer can be integrated into your home network either wirelessly via a dual-band Wi-Fi adapter or via an Ethernet port. The novelty supports streaming from popular streaming services, including Spotify, Tidal, Qobuz and many others. The streamer can also play audio files from an external drive, for connecting which there is a USB-A port on the back of the case. There is also a Bluetooth adapter with support for the aptX HD codec.

To connect digital content sources, coaxial and optical inputs (resolution up to 24 bit / 192 kHz) and a USB-B port (resolution up to 24 bit / 384 kHz) are provided. Supports MQA codec, Roon specifications, as well as AirPlay 2 and Google Cast.

The output amplifier stages of the Rotel S14 Integrated Streamer operate in class AB and provide 80 watts per channel when driven into a nominal 8 ohm load and up to 150 watts into a 4 ohm load. There is also a headphone amplifier. Included with the novelty is a stylish aluminum remote control.

The Rotel S14 Integral Streamer will be offered in black and silver finishes. The suggested retail price is $2,500 .
