RHB Sound unveils a true home cinema monster

RBH Sound 21-SF/R subwoofer - 21" driver, 4kW and 12Hz bass

The American company RBH Sound has presented a real monster for equipping home cinemas of the highest level – a passive subwoofer RBH Sound 21-SF / R with a 21-inch bass driver and a 4-kilowatt external amplifier RBH DA-2602DSP . This gigantic carbon fiber driver was made by Pierce Audio exclusively for RBH Sound. Pierce Audio has been manufacturing handcrafted subwoofers and bass drivers in the Pacific Northwest since 2004.

The speaker works in a closed acoustic design. According to the manufacturer, the RBH Sound 21-SF / R subwoofer is capable of dropping to a fantastic 12 Hz. The weight of 150 kg only emphasizes its extraordinary abilities in the field of high-quality bass production.

In the design of the subwoofer, RBH has implemented its proprietary GADS (Granular Acoustic Damping System) technology, which improves the damping and rigidity of the dynamic driver due to the configuration of the inert cabinet.

The manufacturer considers the DA-2602DSP amplifier to be the best partner for the RBH Sound 21-SF / R subwoofer, which provides enough power to fully control such a gigantic driver. With 4kW bridged power and a 30-band DSP-based parametric equalizer, the DA-2602DSP is capable of driving even a pair of 21-SF/R subwoofers. The amplifying stages of the amplifier operate in class D, the high energy efficiency of which allows the amplifier to be made quite compact.

New items are already on sale in the US. The RBH 21-SF/R passive subwoofer will cost $9,995 , while the DA-2602DSP external amplifier will cost another $1,950 .
