Advance Paris X-D500 meets the highest demands of audiophiles

Advance Paris X-D500

CD transport Advance Paris X-D500 is designed as a CD drive that meets the highest demands of audiophiles. As befits a specialized CD transport, the French manufacturer Hi-Fi Advance Paris focuses exclusively on the essentials, that is, on the most accurate sampling of optical storage media, and does without a built-in DAC.

Advance Paris X-D500 has everything you need

The device relies on purely digital outputs in the form of a coaxial as well as an optical S/PDIF interface.

As promised by the manufacturer, it is consistently designed with the shortest possible signal paths without the possibility of signal interference. This drive is therefore ideal for lovers of pure sound, as Advance Paris attests. The turntable is located in the center of the device and thus has a low center of gravity for maximum smoothness. The encapsulated (in its own chamber) disc operates quietly, but above all accurately and thus ensures accurate reading of storage media. The drive is thus completely separated from the power supply section.

Two toroidal transformers located on the left and right of the drive compartment, according to the manufacturer, provide absolutely clean power supply. As a result, the weight of the Advance Paris X-D500 CD transport was 9.6 kg. At the same time, large legs, according to the manufacturer, minimize possible vibrations of the case. The package also includes a glossy black remote control.
