As befits a specialized CD transport, the French manufacturer Hi-Fi Advance Paris focuses exclusively on the essentials, that is, on the most accurate sampling of optical storage media, and does without a built-in DAC.

This drive is therefore ideal for lovers of pure sound, as Advance Paris attests. The turntable is located in the center of the device and thus has a low center of gravity for maximum smoothness. The encapsulated (in its own chamber) disc operates quietly, but above all accurately and thus ensures accurate reading of storage media. The drive is thus completely separated from the power supply section.

Two toroidal transformers located on the left and right of the drive compartment, according to the manufacturer, provide absolutely clean power supply.
