Kali Audio has introduced a new model of active studio monitors, called LP-UNF. The monitors are designed for near-field operation and are equipped with a 4.5-inch woofer, a one-inch tweeter and an 80 W class D amplifier. There is a bass reflex on the front panel.
A distinctive feature is the volume control in the form of touch buttons – they are located on the front panel. Switching capabilities are represented by the following set of connectors: balanced pair TRS , unbalanced pair RCA and USB-C port .
LP-UNF monitors operate in the frequency range from 54 Hz to 21,000 Hz with a maximum sound pressure of 103 dB, crossover frequency of 1950 Hz.
Another feature of the device is the ability to connect via Bluetooth 5.1 wireless network . There is a built-in DAC that operates at up to 24-bit/48 kHz sampling rates, and a Boundary EQ for adapting sound to different rooms.
Sales will start in February. You can become the owner of a new item for a price of $300 per pair.
