German company ELAC presents a new series of acoustic systems Debut 2.0, which is the development of the highly successful Debut line, developed by the famous British engineer Andrew Jones.

The key innovations of the updated Debut 2.0 series include new waveguide tweeters, providing a wide dispersion pattern. They feature silk domes with a wide surround, capable of delivering not only reliable performance up to 35 kHz but also a lower cutoff frequency, significantly improving their integration with the midrange and woofers. The woofers have also been redesigned, with changes to the shape of the woven aramid fiber cone and dust cap. The lineup includes nine devices: two models each of bookshelf speakers, two floorstanders, two center channel speakers, an in-wall speaker module, an Atmos module, and a 400-watt subwoofer.

With satellites available in two sizes, you can create a cinema system for virtually any room. The speakers feature new woofers with woven aramid fiber cones, which are more rigid. Silk dome tweeters are now capable of handling frequencies up to 35 kHz. The center channel has been designed to consume less power, allowing for greater dynamics from budget AV receivers.
The ELAC Debut B5.2 is a bookshelf speaker system that has been significantly improved over its predecessor. The new speaker features an MDF enclosure finished in high-quality black vinyl with a natural wood grain finish. A precisely calculated brace is installed inside the enclosure, preventing wall vibration even at high volumes. The ELAC Debut B5.2 differs from its predecessor in the location of the bass reflex port – it is now located on the front panel. This simplifies the placement of the speaker in the listening room, as it can now be positioned practically flush against a wall.
The ELAC Debut B5.2 speaker system features a two-way configuration, with both drivers updated. The woofer features a new fiber-reinforced cone and a powerful magnet system, increasing its frequency response and further reducing distortion. The woofer is mounted on a cast basket with excellent anti-resonance properties. The ELAC Debut B5.2 features a new tweeter, which operates over an extended frequency range and delivers a transparent and detailed sound. The tweeter is equipped with a large magnet and is loaded by a round horn. All this provides the tweeter with high sensitivity and makes its sound detailed and transparent. The drivers are connected to a crossover network, which is made using select components and has minimal phase-frequency distortion. A pair of gold-plated screw-type terminals are used for connection to the amplifier.
The ELAC Debut B5.2 speakers are relatively small in size, but their thoughtful design allows them to deliver a powerful, rich sound with deep bass. These speakers can be used in a small room as a stereo system, or as rear channels in a high-end home theater. These speakers offer a versatile sound, suitable for listening to music of various genres, and are perfectly matched with various models of stereo amplifiers and AV receivers.
