n mid-February, the duo of Realme 9 Pro smartphones debuted on the market, and now two more models have joined them. These are Realme 9 5G and 9 5G SE. And the absence of the Pro prefix in the name of new products is not at all a reason to write them off, thinking that in terms of characteristics they are noticeably inferior to their older brothers. On the contrary, Realme 9 5G SE is actually faster than the same Realme 9 Pro.
Realme 9 5G SE
This is the older and therefore more powerful of the two new models. The prefix SE in the title stands for Speed Edition. And the smartphone fully justifies this name thanks to a more powerful chip and a display with a high refresh rate. The new Realme 9 5G SE is inferior to the Pro version, except in terms of cameras.

India will be the first country to launch the Realme 9 5G SE. There it will be available for purchase from next Monday, March 14th. The issue price is $262 for the 6/128 GB version and $300 for the 8/128 GB memory configuration.
Realme 9 5G
This is a slower version than the model with the prefix SE in the name. However, it offers a display with a 90Hz refresh rate and peak brightness like its older brother, almost the same main camera led by a 48MP sensor, and is based on a 6nm MediaTek chipset with a built-in 5G modem. But the base Realme 9 5G, unfortunately, does not have any outstanding features.

Realme 9 5G will go on sale at the same time as the SE version. It will cost $200 for the 4GB/64GB version and $230 for the 6GB/128GB version.
