OnePlus 9 Pro Revealed: High-End Qualcomm chip and five cameras

The Chinese company OnePlus is preparing to release several new products. Among them is the flagship OnePlus 9 series, which will include at least three smartphones. The characteristics of the oldest of them leaked onto the Web this weekend.

At the disposal of the authors of the Greek portal Techmaniacs.gr was a screenshot of the screen of the oldest model OnePlus 9 with a description of its technical characteristics. The smartphone, referred to as the OnePlus 9 Pro, is based on the flagship eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. The company has 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory. Unfortunately, the smartphone lacks support for memory cards, just like other OnePlus 9 models will not have it. The OnePlus 9 Pro is controlled by the Android 11 mobile operating system, on top of which the proprietary OxygenOS firmware will be installed.

On the front, the OnePlus 9 Pro has a 6.7-inch Fluid AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. Her permission has not been specified. In the upper left corner of the screen, you can see a small cutout for the front camera, the characteristics of which are still a mystery. But it is known that a so-called quad camera will be installed on the back of the smartphone, consisting of a main 48-megapixel sensor and three additional modules with a resolution of 50, 8 and 2 megapixels. The cameras will support 8K video recording at 30fps and 4K video at 120fps.

The flagship OnePlus 9 series is expected to be unveiled this spring. In addition to the OnePlus 9 Pro, it will include the “lightweight” flagship OnePlus 9R and the base model OnePlus 9. The exact date of the announcement is still unknown, but they say that on the same day with smartphones, the Chinese brand will present its long-awaited smart watch with the uncomplicated name OnePlus Watch.
