BenQ launches TK850i, TH685i and W2700i projectors with Android TV

BenQ introduces three new projectors with Android TV: the W2700i, TK850i and the TH685i. The projectors provide access to the wide range of entertainment in the Google Play Store and project the content in large format at the touch of a button in the living room. Also new is voice control via Google Assistant. From now on, the new 4K Android TV projectors (W2700i, TK850i) from BenQ are available at retail prices of 1,699 euros each. The Full HD Android TV Beamer TH685i will be available in stores from December at a retail price of 799 euros.

The BenQ projectors are operated with Android TV and thus offer access to the desired content from the Google Play Store. They are equipped with CinematicColor technology and a brightness of 2,000 to 3,500 ANSI lumens. The W2700i offers 4K HDR images for movies and series. The TK850i is specially designed for streaming live sports events in 4K HDR and offers a special sports mode for this. The TH685i, on the other hand, is a Full HD game projector with 8.3 ms input delay and HDR function.

The projectors are equipped with the exclusive FamiLand app, which only brings child-friendly YouTube content to the pre-approved screen. The parental controls help to limit screen time and create a playlist for the kids of the available content to protect them from the dangers of the Internet.

The wireless projection option of the Android TV projectors allows you to broadcast content directly and wirelessly from personal mobile devices via Airplay and Chromecast. This means you are not necessarily dependent on external players such as a TV receiver, Blu-ray player or USB stick. Playing video and audio content in large format is possible with the new W2700i, TK850i and TH685i projectors.
