Xiaomi Mi TV 6: The first TV with two 48-megapixel cameras

Camera TVs are not new to the market. However, they have not yet gained much popularity. Meanwhile, the built-in camera allows making video calls, as well as using programs that recognize gestures and body position on TVs. In particular, such models are offered by Samsung, Huawei and Xiaomi. However, the latter manufacturer decided to go even further and for the first time is releasing a TV with two cameras with a resolution of 48 megapixels – Mi TV 6.

Xiaomi promises that this new flagship will become an interactive device, however, without specifying exactly how its cameras with sensors will be used. But it can be assumed that we are talking about fitness programs and video games.

Mi TV 6 will be officially unveiled on June 28 in China. The manufacturer stirs up public interest in every possible way, allowing information to be “leaked” through social networks. So, it is known that the new product will be equipped with a QLED screen, a 4.2.2 channel configuration audio system with 100 W surround sound, a Wi-Fi module of the sixth version, two HDMI 2.1 ports, support for Dolby Vision IQ and AMD FreeSync Premium technologies. In addition, the TV will receive a special certification for Xbox compatibility – Designed For Xbox.
