This is how cool the Philips Hue Sync Box really is

Have you seen how cool the Philips Hue Sync Box is?

Just as boxes exist to give televisions the intelligence that they “lack” now there are also boxes to emulate the already renowned Philips Ambilight system (improving it, in fact). This is precisely the function of the Philips Hue Sync Box .

What is the Philips Hue Sync Box?

Indeed, Ambilight is from Philips and the box that is in the news today too. And is that what better way to scare away the competition than by creating products that can emulate the ones you already have .

This is what Philips has done by allowing us to have an “Ambilight TV” without resorting to elements like Lytmi Fantasy.

The device synchronizes the smart lights in the house (that you have linked and that will normally be those of the television, but it does not have to be only of this type). With this, it is pursued that they adapt to what you are watching on TV .

This connects via HDMI to the TV and, in turn, gives you the option to connect up to four other devices that also send content. These are reproduced on TV and the lights will replicate the colors, intensity and movements .

Huge content immersion is promised (something that will be accentuated if you’re lucky enough to have a bezel-less TV model).

In case you’re wondering, especially taking into account the options that currently exist, it is not necessary to saturate the WiFI for this. The connection is made via ZigBee, which frees up the bandwidth.

As a handicap, the lights that are required are sold separately , although the good thing about this is that you are free to choose them one at a time.

Finally, with an app available for the Google Play Store and App Store that will serve both for configuration and for lighting control.
