Skyworth Clarus S1 unveiled: A smart TV for outdoor use

Skyworth Clarus S1

At CEDIA 2023 in the United States, Skyworth introduced the new Skyworth Clarus S1 series of smart TVs designed for outdoor use. So far the series includes two models that differ in screen size – 65 and 75 inches diagonally. Clarus S1 TVs are designed to make outdoor entertaining even more fun. The rugged Full Sun TV features a 100W soundbar with 8 speakers.

The Skyworth Clarus S1 features a 4K resolution panel and miniLED backlighting with 400 dimming zones. The new product supports video playback with extended dynamic range in HDR10, HLG and Dolby Vision formats. Proprietary Full Sun technology provides brightness up to 3,000 nits. Combined with an anti-glare screen coating, the Clarus S1’s images remain clear even in direct sunlight. The Clarus S1 can be used for outdoor play or sports, poolside, relaxing on the deck, or just relaxing in the evening around the fire pit on the patio.

The Skyworth Clarus S1 TV has many qualities that allow it to withstand long periods of outdoor use. These include a durable metal body and high resistance to extreme temperatures. The TV is certified to IP66 standard for protection against dust and moisture. The screen is covered with impact-resistant glass with an IK10 rating, and the operating temperature range extends from -20 to +50 degrees.

The Skyworth Clarus S1 TV features a soundbar with Dolby Audio surround sound technology for an immersive and entertaining viewing experience for sports, concerts and movies. The soundbar includes 8 speakers with built-in amplification with a total power of 100 watts. There is also a bidirectional Bluetooth adapter that allows you to both stream music to the TV audio system and use wireless speakers or headphones to accompany TV programs.

The Skyworth Clarus S1 TV runs the Google TV operating system, providing access to a wealth of streaming content, and also supports Chromecast, allowing you to directly stream content from compatible smartphones and tablets to your TV. The TV comes with a Bluetooth remote control with a microphone and a waterproof case.

Skyworth Clarus S1 TVs are already available in the US and Canada. The 65-inch option costs $4,999 , while the 75-inch TV costs $6,999
