Sharp introduced its first QD-OLED TVs built on Samsung matrices. The once-famous TV maker joins rivals Samsung and Sony, who have been releasing QD-OLED TVs since 2022. According to Sharp’s press release, four new QD-OLED TV models are coming in two series – FS 1 and FQ 1 . It is expected that new items will be based on the new generation of Sharp Medalist S 4 X AI processor .
According to the manufacturer, this processor analyzes more than one million images and can automatically adjust “colors, brightness and detail” based on this information to improve the picture quality. Also, AI algorithms are able to optimize content depending on what you are watching, whether it is movies, sports broadcasts or games. According to Sharp, the FS1 and FQ1 series TVs will be equipped with advanced display technologies, HDMI 2.1 ports, support for variable frame rates, Dolby Vision and HDR10, Dolby Atmos and WiFi 6. The new products are based on the Google TV smart platform with support for Chromecast and all popular streaming services.
