Samsung has announced that its 2021 QLED Neo TVs have earned the industry’s first Gaming TV Performance certification for their high gaming performance. The certification was carried out by the German engineering association VDE (Verband Deutscher Elektrotechniker) – the same one that previously tested the same products for safety for eyes .
These models also exhibited high peak brightness, which is a key characteristic for high-quality HDR display, which makes playing video games particularly spectacular.
QLED Neo TVs also have other important gaming features, Samsung says. For example, they provide highly detailed images with deep black levels and accurate color reproduction thanks to a special backlight design. The new Wide Game View and Game Bar, pioneered in TVs, offer a wide view of the game scene in 21: 9 and 32: 9 ratios and the ability to conveniently monitor various game parameters.
Plus, these QLED Neo models deliver high-quality action scenes thanks to a 120Hz refresh rate and Motion Xcelerator Turbo + technology. To match the image and sound, which is given three-dimensional and object-oriented function through algorithms of artificial intelligence, which further enhances the immersion in the game.
“An increasing number of video game enthusiasts are looking to use large-screen, high-quality picture TVs as monitors, led by Samsung,” the company said.
