Samsung launches The Frame - Disney100 Edition TV for Disney's centenary - with a Mickey Mouse-inspired remote

In honor of the 100th anniversary of Disney, Samsung has introduced a special edition of The Frame TV – Disney100 Edition. This unique TV features a Mickey Mouse themed remote control and 100 exclusive digital art pieces from the Disney collection.

The Frame series stands out for its dual functionality: when not used as a TV, it turns into a digital photo frame, displaying various works of art. The Disney edition will contain 100 exclusive paintings from the Disney collection, including art created by Pixar Animation Studios, Marvel, Lucasfilm and National Geographic.

The Frame TV – Disney100 Edition is a 4K QLED display with Dolby Atmos support. It can be hung on the wall or placed on a stand. All ports, such as HDMI and coaxial connections, are located in a separate One Connect Box. This unit is connected to the TV with a thin cable and can be placed up to 5 meters away from the screen.

In addition to unique content, the set includes a remote control, the design of which was inspired by Mickey Mouse. Also, the TV has a platinum silver frame, which is typical and branded for Disney products.

Customers looking to expand their digital art collection will also have access to the Samsung Art Store. Here you can find images used in the traditional version of The Frame, including pieces from the Louvre and the Tate Museum.

“ We are thrilled to offer this unique take on The Frame to celebrate Disney’s milestone 100th anniversary. We hope that this special edition will allow even more people to experience the remarkable picture quality this TV offers ,” said Cheolgi Kim, Executive Vice President, Visual Display Business, Samsung Electronics.

The manufacturer calls The Frame – Disney100 Edition the perfect combination of Samsung technology and Disney creativity. This TV not only offers a high-quality picture, but also allows you to turn the living room space into a real art gallery, the company notes.
