Recall that the Dutch have already presented 4 OLED models of the 7th and 8th series this year – OLED705, OLED706, OLED806 and OLED856. And yesterday Philips shared information about a more advanced model – Philips OLED936. For marketing purposes, it is referred to as OLED +, which is used by this manufacturer for the premium segment.
The OLED936 is powered by a dual P5 processor based on artificial intelligence. New in its work is the use of a light sensor with HDR10 + Adaptive function, Fast Motion Clarity mode for sharper video games and sports programs, AI PQ mode for enhanced images and AI EQ mode for enhanced sound. In addition, the processor provides screen burn-in protection and supports the CalMAN calibration program.
The smart platform is the Adroid 10 with the Google Assistant voice assistant. We also note that Philips is introducing AV1 video decoding on this TV for the first time.
It has a 3.1.2 channel configuration and produces 70W of sound with support for Dolby Atmos, Dolby Digital, DTS-HD and DTS Play-Fi. It includes two mid-range speakers, two overhead speakers, a center tweeter and a subwoofer.
Car chase. Whisper. Music. Exclusive Bowers & Wilkins sound brings breathtaking realism to whatever program you’re watching. The traditional center tweeter delivers clear dialogue, and the upward-facing speakers allow you to fully enjoy Dolby Atmos,” emphasized Philips …
Sales of new items will begin in September this year. No pricing information has yet been released.
