Panasonic’s top-of-the-line OLED and Mini LED TVs provide unbeatable picture quality

Panasonic TVs 2025

At the CES 2025 show in early January in Las Vegas, Panasonic showcased two exciting new high-end TVs: the Panasonic Z95B and W95B. We’ve already covered the first one, which features the cutting-edge Primary RBG Tandem Panel and ThermalFlow cooling system. Now, let’s dive into the second model, the Panasonic W95B, which is built on a mini LED panel.

Panasonic’s latest flagship model, the W95B, features cutting-edge Mini LED technology and comes in sizes of 55, 65, 75, and 85 inches. This new TV boasts over double the backlight zones compared to its predecessor, allowing for much finer control over contrast. With each LED being activated independently and a 2.5 times increase in backlight zones, this mini LED series delivers even more accurate brightness management. The outcome is stunning contrast, enhanced detail, and the capability to display everything from deep, rich blacks to brilliant whites, elevating the overall realism of the picture.

Moreover, the Panasonic W95B shows impressive advancements in color accuracy, thanks to its mini LED backlight system paired with a real-time color management system. The incorporation of Hybrid Tone Mapping technology enables real-time analysis and correction of each scene, enhancing the subtleties in both the brightest and darkest parts of the image. This results in significantly improved HDR playback quality. All these features are powered by the new HCX Pro AI MK II video processor, which utilizes sophisticated algorithms and artificial intelligence to dynamically fine-tune image settings, optimizing brightness, contrast, and color based on the content and lighting. Additionally, the W95B models come with a new Prime Video calibration mode for enhanced content viewing. They also include a 20W audio system that delivers clear, immersive sound and supports external active subwoofers for an even richer audio experience.

The Panasonic Z95B and W95B series TVs come packed with smart features thanks to the Fire TV operating system. This gives you easy access to all the top streaming apps, plus cool extras like AirPlay and Apple Home support. For the first time on Fire TV, you can also take advantage of Calman and ISFccc calibrations, which provide pro-level tools to enhance color accuracy and optimize your viewing experience to meet industry standards.

When you’re not watching anything, these TVs can turn into vibrant displays with the Fire TV Ambient Experience. You can showcase personal photos, set up custom Alexa widgets, and more. Plus, the system features a universal Penta tuner that works with satellite, terrestrial, cable, and IPTV, so you can enjoy content from anywhere in your home.

Panasonic definitely has gamers in mind with their latest offerings. The Z95B and W95B series are built for those who take gaming seriously. Both models support AMD FreeSync Premium, which means you can enjoy super smooth gameplay with refresh rates hitting up to 144 Hz. This is perfect for those intense gaming sessions. Plus, the Z95B series also works with NVIDIA G-SYNC. The True Game mode gives you pro-level settings that match what game developers intended. And with ultra-low latency, every move you make is shown on screen instantly, giving seasoned gamers that crucial edge.
